Steps aren't displayed on the new dashboard

Hello all,

My app updated itself and now all I can see is calorie burn. How do I see my step count for the day?

There are times when I want to see it on my phone, but now I can only see calorie, water, sleep hourly steps, weight and food.

When I first purchased my Charge HR years ago, the app was great. But, each new app version seems to be worse then the next. I hate the tile theme...

I now have the Blaze (1 to 2 years) and love it, but through the app, I cannot see my steps.

Any advice on how to see daily step totals would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Lizzy.

My problem wasn't solved that easy. I had to remove, reinstall the app, remove the device, add the same device and then I saw the options. At first when I contacted the community, there weren't any options for seeing steps. So, after performing these steps, I was able to see the steps and remove the calorie counter.

Thanks for your effort.

Hi @adwtay, welcome to the Community! I'm glad to see you here.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry for the inconvenience experienced, and let's work on this together. I believe the tile is hidden, and to add it back to your dashboard, please try the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on "Edit".
  2. Make sure there is a check mark next to Steps.
  3. On this page you can also rearrange the order of the stats by tapping on the three lines next to the tile you want to move, and drag it to a new position.
  4. Once you're done, tap on "Save".

For more details about this new dashboard, I'd recommend to check this help article.

See you around! Cat Happy
