Steps not crossing over to challenges

I am having an issue with my steps not crossing over into the challenges. They are showing up on my dashboard when I enter the app. I also make sure to allow it to sync until it says "connected" before I switch over to the challenges to see if it is updating there. I have had this issue for almost three days now and feel like I have tried everything. Deleting the app/reinstalling, removing the device from the app and reinstalling etc... I am also having the same issue on the MFP app. My steps sync, but they are not figuring Into my exercise. I did have a phone update on Saturday (mid day) but everything seemed to work just fine rest of the day. Problems started on Sunday 1.24.16. I have had my Fitbit HR Charge since mid-November and this is the first issue I haven't been able to fix myself.

Please let me know what else I should be doing.

You mention MyFitnessPal in your post. Are you logging any of your activities into MFP rather than using your fitbit to track activities directly?

If so, any steps from 3rd party apps (or from manually logging activities) do not count towards challenges.

No, I do not log any exercise into MFP manually...
However I may have to start if my Fitbit doesn't start working properly.
Thank you for the reply.

@Shanna920 Manually logged workouts also do not count towards Challenges, this could be a potential reason why you are seeing a step discrepancy between your dashboard and Challenges.
