Thanks for your participation in the Forums, I appreciate you have joined the conversation. Tell me, which tracker are you currently using? Since when have you experienced this issue?
If your tracker is not resetting its steps at midnight, I would like to suggest you to restart it, this usually fix this issue. I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
