Steps on Fitbit lower than IOS app until it syncs

My Fitbit app has a higher number of recorded steps than the actual Fitbit. If there was going to be a discrepancy shouldn't it be with the app and not the device you are wearing. Is there a fix?

Welcome to our Community @LabMommy! Thanks for stopping by! Woman Very HappyI'd suggest you restart your tracker and log out and back into the Fitbit app. Then, please force sync your tracker with your mobile device by doing the following:

1. Open the Fitbit app from your iOS device. Sign into your account if you haven't done so already.
2. Tap your tracker name at the top of the app dashboard.
3. Make sure your tracker has battery life and bring it near to your iOS device.
4. Scroll down and tap the "Sync Now" tile and wait for the sync to complete.

Hope this helps, let me know how it goes! Cat Tongue
