Steps synced by MobileTracked reset back.

Hi,

I left my Fitbit at home today and set-up Mobiletrack on my iPhone 6s.   Mobiletrack synced temporary and updated my steps, but then my step reading reset back to what it originally showed.  Any suggestions on a solution are welcome.  I tried logging out and rebooting my phone, but that didn't work.

Thank You!

Hello @Bake123, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have come back and provided more details about this situation. Please note that as the app you mentioned is not supported by Fitbit (as it was not developed by us), it's not possible for us to retrieve data overwritten by that app. I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences this situation has caused you. At this moment, my best recommendation is to manually log in your activities for the days you're missing data and continue using MobileTrack.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day.

Hello @Bake123, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to remove MobileTrack from your account, then set it up once again. To check MobileTrack is working correclty, please have the Fitbit app open (in the backgroung) when you're using MobileTrack and bring the app forward when syncing MobileTrack.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

Hi Marco,

Here's a little more detail. I originally didn't know about MobileTrack and will give it another try soon.  It looks to be a useful feature when you forget your tracker, as I did yesterday.  As of this morning, my Fitbit app and tracker are back to functioning fine.  However, before I was aware of Mobiletrack, I tried a third party app yesterday (1/21) that would sync to my Apple Health.  It was called Health App to Fitbit Sync by Bickster LLC.  That seemed to work, but then I realized it overwrote all of my on-line Fitbit information back to December 24th, 2018.  So, I uninstalled it.   The same day (1/21) I stumbled across MobileTrack and loaded it.   It probably does work fine, but I think the Health App to Fitbit Sync by Bickster LLC caused the problem that we are discussing now.  On your end, is there anyway to restore my previous Fitbit data that was overwritten by Apple Heath?  Does it get backed-up somewhere?   If so, the dates that were overwritten are from December 24th, 2018 to January 21st, 2019.

Thank you!
