I followed @Beachbaby1 's instructions and my texts are finally now showing up on my watch after adding the watch again as a new device.
Still waiting on the app to identify Whatsapp etc again in the Fitbit app to turn those notifications back on to see if it also works for those.

Thank you to all those who responded to what is a fairly widespread issue!
After trying things, and concerned about losing data and non-synchronising, I forgot the device in the Bluetooth setting and then deleted the Fitbit App from my phone and then downloaded it. All the data was there when I did reload it, being stored on the site of course!
All my notifications and synchronising work.
Seems to have solved it at this stage.

Best AnswerJust adding to the bottomless chain that I haven’t gotten messages on my iPhone in over a week and followed every ‘fix’ suggested. Insane Fitbit hasn’t resolved yet and amazed to see how widespread the problem is. Where are you, FitBit? No updates since 10/9?!
That's terrible! Even from your I Phone too! I think they need to send us all new Fitbit Charge 2's. If they can't fix it, they need to give us a new device or lose lots of customers. Christmas is around the corner. Apple watches here we come! Fitbit will just go out of business if they don't have loyal customers anymore. This is my 3rd Fitbit. So sad that the Charge 2's haven't gotten notifications for 3 months. How is that good business??? Fitbit has never replied to any of my posts the past 3 months!!!

Best Answer@Apartm Agreed . When you don't treat customers properly, who've paid alot of money for a glorified watch since being bricked you've got to expect they will leave and get a product that does work.
