I followed the instructions but they don't work. My Charge 3 doesn't show up in the list of Bluetooth devices in my new iPhone 11 Pro and when I selected "Notifications" I receive a popup to perform a "Set Up", but the circle just spins and nothing happens after that. It eventually times out after a minute or so. (Note: This all happened after I uninstalled Fitbit from my old iPhone, turned off bluetooth there and then turned it off, and then turned off bluetooth and removed the dongle on my computer.)
Thank you so much!!! - I tried this and finally I am getting texts. Like you, I do not want people to be able to see these on my phone BUT I want to see texts on my fitbit more. Not a great solution but thank you again so much!!!
I too have done everything to the point of completely put my stuff back to factory settings and I still cannot receive text message notifications. I’m at the point where I’m ready to get rid of my Fitbit and buy me an Apple Watch
My Ionic does not have a spot in the settings that says "About" so I can't shut down the watch. I have tried everything to sync this watch. It stopped syncing 5 days ago. My IPhoneX Fitbit app won't even open. It states "Opps! Something went wrong!" On my Mac computers, I have removed and reinstalled, tried different computers and used the Wireless Sync Dongle. It shows connected but won't sync.
PLEASE Help! I am on my wits-end. If you can't fix these issues it will force me and probably others to go to a different product... like an Apple watch.
I hate people being able to see my messages. Thanks for the post. Turning on message notifications worked. Come on Fitbit fix the issue.
Best AnswerFinally after two months. I deleted the app once again and reloaded and my Fitbit is finally working correctly! I am getting text notification and long with what the text says! Thanks for getting this resolved. I was about to change brands.
Best AnswerSame situation for me. Have you figured anything out?
Best AnswerWhat am I doing wrong??? I turned on my messaging previews (which I also hate) but it didn't re-calibrate messages to go to my fitbit.
Best AnswerThese steps do not work - and it's quite aggravating that that was an update to fitbit for "group messaging" within the app but no update on the text messaging notifications scenario which to many customers is a big deal.
I've already put in a ticket which I'm sure many others have done as well; can we at least get an update on whether you guys are close to fixing the issue?
