Setting my message notification settings to "Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked" worked for me and I have the Versa 2 and the most recent iPhone update. I wasn't getting text notifications, but got everything else. I made sure to change the setting to "when unlocked" like previously mentioned (because I had it at "never") and it fixed the issue for me.
Best AnswerOh and I also did the bluetooth setting thing where you turn off and on the setting thing for sharing system notifications.

Best AnswerI’ve done everything on this thread a couple times and still cannot get my Blaze to show notifications anymore. I am probably going to switch products and not buy another Fitbit if this issue cannot get resolved.
FINALLY!!! My Fitbit Charge 2 is fixed!!! I had tried all the troubleshooting tips and multiple other things and NOTHING! The issue was accidentally fixed tonight! HAPPY DANCE!!! I received a text through my watch and I jumped!!! Was on the phone with Verizon for another issue and was instructed to “RESET” my iPhone 7Plus. It fixed the other issue I was having and then I got a text on my Fitbit!!! Warning: If you reset, the iPhone will go back to factory settings but you will not lose data (contacts, pics, etc.) I lost my thumbprint recognition, therefore lost all my passwords!!! Happy to have Fitbit working again, but it’s a shame I lost so much!!!
Every few days, I have tried all the troubleshooting tips. My iphone and fitbit app are up to date. I still cannot receive notifications of text messages on my Alta. I was really hopeful the latest app update would do it but no change. This is a very long time to wait for a fix.
Yes, this is the exact same response that I got earlier this week. Not allowed to bring back even though I’m under the 1 year because it isn’t a manufacturer’s problem. No timeline on fixing the issue when I repeatedly asked—just a lot of vague answers and no helpful support at all. Very frustrating!

Best AnswerFreaking ridiculous- this text notification BS and now my Fitbit lost connection. I removed it and went through all the steps to set it back up to no avail. Called Fitbit and they can’t get it to work either. They said they would send a replacement offer but I’m almost to the point of not even doing that because WHATS THE POINT it doesn’t work as advertised even when it’s connected!!
