Best AnswerNevermind....it only worked for about 24 hours and don't want to have to reset my phone everyday and redo everything, but I really want to be notified of calls and texts....

If you have a versa 2. Go to notifications in settings and then messages and change to see preview when unlocked.

Best AnswerHello @TessaBit44 you might want to go back to your post and edit your name and employer out. It's always best to be safe on a public forum.
I’ve contacted costumer aupport since the iOS 13 update weekly, and no solutions. It’s been over a month since the update.
My iOS is up to date. The fitbit app is up to date. Tried all the above items to get text messages on the ionic. Still no luck. Black Friday is next week, and seriously considering the Apple Watch. I bet they will be on sale with Black Friday. Highly annoyed!
I had tried all suggestions without any success. I was receiving call notifications with a vibration, but text messages did not cause the FitBit to vibrate.
Badlands fix (detailed in Message 3438 on this thread) worked for me.
I have a versa and an iPhone 8.
Thanks so much!! 🙂
This worked. Worked for me. Thank you!!!!!

Best AnswerWhat frustrates me the most is that they knew this was an issue dating back to the end of September, so why was there not notices placed at the retail outlets OR on their website so that anyone making a new purchase would be informed? Bought mine October 28 and I specifically chose Fitbit for the feature of receiving text and call notifications. Had there been a notice at the store stating that they were experiencing issues but working to resolve them, I could have at least made an informed decision on whether to buy now or wait till it was resolved. It is like a form of false advertising - especially since they knew and did not make it public to new customers.
Does Fitbit plan to extend our one year warranties? Those that are still within the warranty period should be given at least that as an option. Very frustrated!!!!
I have the Inspire. And yes I don’t want to show previews on my phone. Shouldn’t have to be that way.
