I see this hasn't been updated since 10/9. Are you still trying to resolve this? I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps (at least twice) and I am one of the unlucky ones that still aren't getting the notifications across the Alta. Am hoping this gets resolution quickly. More frequent updates on progress to get this resolved would be helpful, even if you are still working on it, you should inform us that you are still working on it.

I also chatted with customer service. Have not been able to get it resolved. I can’t tell you how many times I have updated my phone settings and restarted my Fitbit.

This is what I get with my Charge 2. if I don’t have notification previews on my phone I get no notifications on my Charge 2. If I put notification previews on my phone, I get utterly bombarded with calendar notifications every 30 seconds that should only come through once. It causing me to swear a lot, & my battery wont last the day. I need the notifications, because I can’t have my phone on in work and need to know if my kids school is phoning.

It seems to be the Apple update more than the Fitbit ?
Thank you,

Text notifications worked when I changed preview to “when unlocked”.
Wish it didn’t have to be that way... but for now it’ll have to do...

I found that when I forgot the device off my Bluetooth and then deleted the app from the iPhone and then re-downloaded it, I have found that it has solved my problem and at this stage all is working as it was!!
All my information was still there and downloaded.
So far, so good!
Cheers,

Hello, I’ve updated my phone and ever since then I haven’t been able to receive text notifications on my Fitbit blaze. Phone calls will show up but not texts.
I’ve deleted and redownloded the app. Made sure to have all my notifications on. What is going on? I see this problem has been since JUNE. Is there still NO resolution?

I can see this thread started a long time ago but the resolution isn't necessarily appropriate.
The only notification I no longer receive on my versa is the texts. I receive all other notifications. The only way I can receive a text on the fitbit is to change the setting on the phone for PREVIEW in notifications to always or when unlocked.
This needs to be addressed. I used to receive the texts with this selected as 'never' in the past. I don't want my phone to show previews of my text messages on the lock screen just so I can receive them on my watch. Where did the privacy go?
Additionally it seems I have seen in other threads that there is a software update version starting in the 4's. I'm still in the 3's and in Australia.
When will these privacy concerns be addressed (if they haven't already in the update) and software update released OS in Australia?

I’ve done every step and nothing works. Please alert us once this has been resolved if we need to do an action. This is the biggest feature (and sleep) for me. Without this option it’s almost worthless. I decided Fitbit over I watch due to the sleep feature.
