Yes they work, but only if you also have text preview turned on on your phone. This was not how it worked before and I do not want text preview turned on so the fix is not a fix for me.

I found that after the latest Fitbit update, it now also works with "When ulocked". (or what it will be in english, sorry, Im Norwegian).
This is not the worst solution, but not the best either..

Some get it to work, and some dont, after conntacting Fitbit. If there are anyone that did this, it would be really nice if they share what solved this issue. Also strange that Fitbit dont publish this solution.

I have been contacting Fitbit once a month since June! They just keep giving me the run around and generic responses. They clearly have no intention of fixing the problem. With as much as these costs you would think they would want to make their customers happy.they refuse to give an answer when asked around when This will be fixed. They should be ashamed at how they are treating customers.

I have had this same issue since my iPhone updated as well. I have went as far as doing factory resets on my phone and Versa. Deleted the Fitbit app.. bought a new Versa. Still no text coming in on my watch. I am so frustrated I am ready to return the new one and I have always loved my watch. What is going on?!?

I owned a Charge 2 and I did the recent update on my iPhone, after that I stopped receiving text messages. I know this a common problem however I just purchased the Charge 3 and still no text messages. I have done all the problem solving there is and no luck. Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you in advance.

Did you find a fix yet? I’ve gotten nowhere so far. Fitbit is not helping much. Same instructions that are doing nothing

I just called, didn’t realize I could call. They checked to make sure I had all my settings correct. Turns out they are just an internal issue people are having with IOS 13. I’m essentially SOL until an upcoming update hopefully resolved it. He said they’re aware it’s an ongoing issue they’re working on.
