Not good news. I just updated my phone to the 13.1 and hope to get my Fitbit going when I get home from work today. I am really really hoping. Ugh!
Best AnswerI have done every troubleshooting on here, but I am still not getting any results. I get notifications for every app, except dealing with the text messages and texts on an iPhone 8. Any advice on what to do? I am kinda getting a bit frustrated.
Best AnswerHi there what settings do you have ? Tried what they suggested got a fix but would like it to only work with my notification for text messages see you preview never...
Best AnswerI am still not receiving any notifications at all. I’m on IOS 13, and have tried all of the suggestions on this site prior to posting here. Looking forward to Fitbit releasing an IOS13 update to remedy the notifications issue.
Nothing they direct you to do works. It looks like you need to update Fitbit to even function with Apples new update. I really hope they fix this, or i will just end up with an Apple Watch. I wonder if apple is secretly behind this...pushing us to get apple watches. (I’m just a conspiracy theorist) it’s probably just Fitbit not keeping up with technology...or is it?
I’m getting constant notifications and I have them all turned off. It’s incredibly annoying hoping it’s soon fixed!
Best AnswerThe beauty of this in the past is that I can see a message on my watch without someone who is closer to my phone being able to read the message. I do NOT want my messages visible on my lock screen, but I do need them on my watch. Is there a plan to further rectify this problem?
My fitbit app stopped working on Sept 19 when I did the iOS 13 update and still is not working properly and it is Sept 25 2019. I did everything they recommended and even did a hard reset on my iPhone. The fitbit app records my Cals as I have it linked to MyNetDiary and receives that information. But nothing else, no sleep log, no step, no floors, but all this information is on my fitbit Blaze. I have the most current app. Oddly enough, when I get a phone call I get notification on my fitbit but doesn't stop when I answer the phone. I do get text messages. So what can we expect and when can we expect it by to correct this significant issue. Very frustrated......

Best AnswerWill Fitbit be updating their software so that we don’t have to keep the previews on for text messages. I don’t want the text previews being on my lock screen or banners. Is there anything that can be done to still get notifications from my iPhone to my Fitbit?

Best AnswerSame issue here on Android; not receiving text notifications. I temporarily fixed it by deleting and reinstalling the app, but it broke again about 12 hours later.
I didn't even realize how reliant I had become on receiving text notifications, especially for work. The missing functionality is a dealbreaker and I've been investigating other (non-Fitbit) devices.
