not trying to be rude, but are you trying to be rude towards me? i’m not the kind of person to text people back right away, and if my watch can tell me what a message says before i reply to it and get my phone it helps.
Best Answerwait, this wasn’t supposed to send on here. that was supposed to be something completely different! i don’t even know you and i can clearly tell you’re not being rude! ugh now it’s my phone acting up. thanks apple 🙄

How am I being rude towards you?!? I’m just stating that I think it’s ridiculous that FITB it s response to IOS users is to turns on show text previews! I’m a teacher, I get parent texts. I don’t need my messages out in the open which is why I like the Fitbit because I can read the message and the. Respond when I get a minute.

Best AnswerI installed the update. I have tried everything suggested. I can go get any notifications. HELP!
Best AnswerMe too. And my time has reset to east coast time, and i live on the west coast....
Best AnswerI have followed the steps with still no fix. The whole reason I chose Fitbit versa was for the receiving of messages. Without messages my Fitbit is really just a watch. This issue needs to be fixed fast. I have spoken on chat with Fitbit and still no resolve. But happy at all
Best AnswerThese steps work....if you want text message previews to show on your Fitbit AND your iPhone....I have them set to “never” message preview for a reason. I don’t want to have to change a big setting like that just so you guys can figure your stuff out. I’ve had a Fitbit for many many years & love it. REALLY crossing my fingers that Fitbit figures this out & quickly.
Best AnswerThank you for all the messages, have finally managed to get mine to work but had to change my notifications to always when unlocked, this works for me as when locked you can’t see messages.
Best AnswerI just got my Fitbit a week ago and notifications worked perfectly! For three days. Then they became delayed, now they've stopped all together. I was hoping it was an easy fix.

Best AnswerWill there be an update to change messenger allowing “show preview” to be set to NEVER. My phone sent messages to my Fitbit watch with my settings on “never” until the update and now it has to be set to “when unlocked or always” and I prefer my text not be viewed.
