I so agree!!!! Extremely frustrating. I’m at a loss in what to do now and I teach during the day and it was great to know if my family needed to get a hold of me because I can’t have my phone on me. Ugh

Went through every step multiple times and cannot get Alta notifications, this was only after iOS 13 update.

The Ionic is still NOT getting text messages since downloading iOS 13. I get calendar reminders and missed call notifications but that's it! I have gone through the suggested steps multiple times with no luck. I am now on iOS 13.2.3. Please find a fix to this.
I might be forced to get an Apple watch but I have liked my Fit Bits for many years.

Also just to add, I used to get calls after iOS 13 update, not those are gone too, so I only get the reminder step at 10 til the hour, when I hit 10k or when I have accomplished 250 steps for the hour, nothing else

What do you mean by Left button? I have not been receiving my text notifications for months - have called Fitbit twice with no success.

Thanks so much for this fix! I have been battling this problem for 2 months now and Fitbit support could not help me over the phone!! I am now receiving text notifications
I had to disconnect the Versa from the Bluetooth
Then forget the device on the Fitbit app
Then go to general on my phone (under settings) scroll all the way down - tap on reset and then hit reset all settings
Once the phone turned back on I went to the Fitbit app - set up the versa again and then made sure bluetooth was turned back on - make sure notifications are turned on in both the Fitbit app and under notifications on your phone
Had my kids text me and it worked!

I am sorry I thought my response posted on the thread I found that fixed it - response 3438 from Badlands has detailed instructions and they worked for me.

Now I had to reset my settings like my display and text size on my phone but after two months of not having it fixed it was worth it.

I think what happened in your case is that you reset your phone and it changed the message preview to always show. Thats why you see message notifications now

I’ve literally went almost 2 months now without any notifications, how on earth are they not fixing this???

I’ve been leery of resetting network settings, going through all of that , having it not work and then losing settings and having to redo them all. If it’s this simple of a fix why isn’t Fitbit telling this on their site.. (rhetorical question lol)

I have a fitbit blaze and experiencing the same issues as everyone else with the notifications.
Has anyone else noticed a pattern where it seems to be the older devices that seem to be having an issue with notifications. Jumping quickly into the device-specific forums especially the "current" product list on the website you see there aren't that many people posting about issues with their notifications.
I haven't gone through every post in this thread, but it does seem as though the moderators and "community council members" have walked away from it.
I'm guessing we won't see a fix to this issue until after the holidays. That way Fitbit can try and get us to buy a newer one during the holidays.

Hopefully,
@KateFitbit can look into it after her team finishes looking into a users issue with the app requesting a users location. I attached her post below that i referenced.
Otherwise, I'm hoping @KateFitbit can provide some insight as to why or how her team was caught off guard by iOS13. iOS 13 was released on September 19, 2019, but Fitbit had access to the iOS13 Beta on or around June 3, 2019. That's 3 months PRIOR notice to address any issues. Not only that, but the first post here is dated back to 6/29/19 where the user experienced issues with notifications.

@jwalder, @JBDow following up on @LizzyFitbit's post, our team is currently looking into this issue. I recommend keeping your app and iOS updated.

@GEEDAWG You mean you aren't the least bit interested in the popup message you get in the fitbit app letting you know that you can get $50 off a versa 2?
It would have been nice if @KateFitbit and her team put one of those popup ads in the app warning about upgrading to ios 13.
Nothing fancy it could have been something as simple as hey we are having some issues with notifications in iOS 13. If its an important feature to you you may want to wait before upgrading. I don't remember that message. Did anyone else receive one?

When is this going to resolved?!?! I’ve tried all of the steps listed to troubleshoot and got no where! I’m considering returning my new versa 2 if there is no fix coming...
