Suddenly stopped syncing

My flex suddenly stopped syncing to my phone in the middle of the day. Tried removing the device and syncing as a new one, but it didn't work.
This is devastating. If my Fitbit isn't tracking, what is the point of walking?!!!

A lot of people are having that problem today.  I have done all the steps in troubleshooting and restarting to no avail.  Wish there was a pinned post on who to contact.  And don't feel bad it isn't on the IOS it is also happening on the Androids and won't sync or light up with my laptop either...

Putting the fitbit in the charger and using a paperclip to reset it worked. Unfortunately, it didn't count any of my steps for yesterday, but at least it is syncing now. Thanks.

I never could get mine to reset. Mine will sync only in the charger but it won't track steps.  I have tried to reset over and over.  I have uninstalled all the software and reloaded several times. I spent over two hours on the forum last night looking for an answer. I have even tried different wrist bands They offered me a 25% discount on a new one since mine is out of warranty.  Not happy at all.  I paid a $100 for it to only last two years.  They can't just replace the tracker I have to buy the whole package.  I just can't see myself spending another $75.00 for an item to last two years.  It sure makes me happy I didn't purchase one of their more expensive items to last two years.

I have the same problem. Mine synced at 5 on Tuesday morning and wouldn't again at 11 AM. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app on my phone, disconnecting/reconnecting it via bluetooth to my phone (never could discover it again), resetting it using the paperclip method...I just bough six new bands for it 😞 I agree with the irritation at it only lasting two years. Mine is also out of warranty now, and them blaming it on my phone being an S7 doesn't fly. It worked for months and then out of the clear blue sky the bluetooth crapped out 😞 I too, was considering "upgrading" to a fancier device soon, but with all of the terrible problems with the bands on the Charge, I was hesistant...I resigned to keeping the Flex longer and bought a bunch of new bands.

Did you ever get a resolution?

The paper clips reset worked for me. Also another time it didn't sync, I
let the battery totally drain and then recharged fully and that worked.

Maybe try the paper clip thing again? Mine has been so durable. I even put
it through the wash and dryer and it continues to work!

@Marissa3209 welcome to the forums! Have you tried the restart again just like @Plakka suggested? That might do the trick. If you've done that to no avail, please contact our Support Team for a second opinion. They definitely have the proper tools to take a deeper look into your tracker's behavior. Good luck and keep me posted!
