Syncing Apple Watch to Fitbit app

I’m having trouble getting the Fitbit app to recognize my Apple Watch. It’s telling me I have to use a third app like Strava, however after following all of the steps it still does not recognize my watch. Please help, I miss my walking buddies and the Fitbit app!

In order to assist you better, please confirm if you have a Fitbit device? If so, the Fitbit device can be paired to your Fitbit account in order to sync.
