Syncing not working

I wear my Fitbit almost every day and sync it every night before bed. For some reason, this process takes much longer than it should and doesn't work the way Fitbit says it should.

1. It hasn't recorded any of my sleep or workouts since May 28th. (It's July 24th). I do these things daily so it should track them.

2. The sync takes forever. I usually get about halfway before I give up. Just getting halfway takes 10 minutes.

3. I give up because the only way it will even get that far is if it stays in that app. The second I close out (even though it's still running) it quits syncing.

I don't understand why it does this when everyone else I know has a perfectly functioning one. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @KatieB2727, welcome to the Community! Wow! since May 28th that your Charge HR is nit syncing? that is a lot of time. Smiley Frustrated but don't worry, let me see how I can help you.

First of all, I suggest you to try to restart your Charge HR by following the instructions on @AlejandraFitbit post, to fix the issue with your sleep and workouts.

Now regarding t he syncing issues, I suggest you to take a look of the tips on this post to make it sync.

Let me know how it goes!

I did what you recommended about 15 minutes then tried syncing it and it's currently less than half way. I still can't close out of the app even to reply to a text message without it quitting the sync. Prior to this restart, it would at least say on the screen that I had steps and stairs but this time it's 0 all across the board.

Thanks for getting back to me @KatieB2727 and taking the time to try the steps I suggested above. Let's go ahead and try something else, could you please try to set it up your Charge HR as a new device? Just follow the instructions on @AlejandraFitbit post to do so.

Let me know the results. Smiley Wink

I removed ,my FitBit and began following the steps you suggested. It took me to a screen telling me to enter in the number on the device.. After 11 minutes on the first attempt, I gave up and tried again. This one was successful after 9 minutes.

Thank you for your help with this. Hopefully this lasts!
