The ability to add data

When not wearing the device....i.e. While it's charging. I would love to still be able to collect steps and have the ability to add data manually.

Hello @UmpDominator,

 

You can do either.

 

To log activities manually:

  1. Go to your activities page.
  2. Go to the bottom of the page and click on the walk icon.
  3. Enter time and duration, you can log either in distance or steps.

 

You can also configure your phone to be a tracker.  This feature is called MobileTrack.

 

All that said, if you simply plug it in while showering (since you can't wear it in the shower), it'll maintain a charge indefinitely.
