Hello @UmpDominator,
You can do either.
To log activities manually:
- Go to your activities page.
- Go to the bottom of the page and click on the walk icon.
- Enter time and duration, you can log either in distance or steps.
You can also configure your phone to be a tracker. This feature is called MobileTrack.
All that said, if you simply plug it in while showering (since you can't wear it in the shower), it'll maintain a charge indefinitely.
