Are you trying to connect your Charge 2 as a new device? (I ask because your mentioning a pin that’s not working)
If your having syncing issues and your experiencing that after the new iOS update try this:
Try looking here and set it up this way on your device:
iOS Settings > Notifications > Messages > Show Previews > Always (Default)
also iOS settings>notifications>Fitbit> ON
