Syncing w/ Apple Health

Held out hopes for the Ionic but I can't get past the looks and lack of text replies (constant issue w/ my job) so I purchased a series 3 Apple watch.

I played around with a syncing app and I don't want a middle piece of software so instead of rocking the apple watch at work and exercise with a Flex 2 on the other arm for all the benefits of the Fitbit community, I'm going back to a misfit ray to get my steps in Apple health 24/7 and can wear my apple watch when I want to.

Fitbit, don't be scared, share the info.  Your ecosystem is excellent (I have the alta HR, zip, Charge 2 was just sold..and selling the blaze) but I won't deal with a 3rd party app to sync MY data to MY health app.  So..back to misfit who like many companies, isn't scared to share info into Apple's health kit.

bye ..at least for now 😞

Got the AW Series 3.  Will be getting a Misfit Ray (used to have one) so I have 24/7 wearing 4 month battery sleep tracking and steps to sync with Apple Health.  Will wear the AW for exercise and work, whenever and all the data will be in one place.  Still no syncing of Fitbit to Apple Health without 3rd party so that's that for now with FB 😞

I hear ya on apple health, but I think that may be as much a problem with apple as it is with fitbit. Glad you found a solution that works for you.

I also just purchased an Apple 3 watch, have been wearing both blaze & Apple 3, to see the differences. I just got this notification: Overachiever! You're 4,149 steps over your daily goal. The problem with the notification is I am actually 1149 steps over my goal. Also, the floors are being calculated wrong with the fitbit - I did not climb 47 floors today, only 24. Fitbit says I slept a different amount of time versus the 3rd party app for the Apple 3 watch. The step counts are pretty close, but fitbit has more active minutes 120 vs 90.  Pretty weird. So the question is - which is more accurate? I know the stair counts are wrong for the blaze. I don’t want to wear both watches for much longer, it too geeky.

Did you ever figure out which one was more accurate? Just curious because I wear the AW 1 and a Fitbit Alta 2 all the time and have been wondering the same thing.
