After the new iOS update I tapped no instead of yes when I got the “Fitbit wants to use Bluetooth” message. I have restarted my Fitbit, checked for updates, turned my Bluetooth on and off read every string I can but can’t find instructions get my Fitbit to appear on my Bluetooth list on my phone settings. Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Lilbitsassy
I think the easiest course of action is just to reinstall the Fitbit App to force that Bluetooth prompt again.
Here’s how:
1. Log out of the Fitbit app and force shut the app by swiping up
2. completely uninstall the Fitbit App from your device
3. now completely shut down your device and wait about 1 min then restart your device
4. once your device has reloaded reinstall the Fitbit app by downloading it from the App Store
5. once it’s installed, log into your device as you normally would with username and password
6. don’t touch anything in the app...just wait until you get a prompt from your Bluetooth.
7. When prompted by your Bluetooth tap yes
8. now try to sync
Doing this will give you the cleanest install and should repair this Bluetooth issue
😃 I hope I was able to resolve your issue. If indeed I did please tap “best answer “ under my post so that it can help others who may have issues similar to yours.

Will I lose all my past data? Will it give me options to reset my password? I’m positive I won’t know that anymore.

Hello again @Lilbitsassy
You will not lose your data doing this. Again once you reinstall the Fitbit app remember, as I stated above, to sign back in after reinstalling as you always do with the same email and password that your using now for your Fitbit App. Nothing changes except your just reinstalling it. As far as you not currently remembering your password I would look here for instructions on how to reset your password if necessary here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1392#reset
😉

If you haven’t reinstalled the Fitbit app try this first:
Just go to device settings>general>reset>reset all network settings.
Maybe this will work and you won’t have to reinstall
