I’m not interested in a target cardio load so I’ve turned this off in the list of stats in the app. However I still get the message banners for it, telling me it’s getting ready to give me my first target, telling me how to prepare for my first target load, etc. They reappear every single day. Could these please be hidden when the associated data is hidden in the dashboard?

@sockatume I'm hoping that these messages will stop showing up after the seven day calibration period. Are you still in your seven day calibration period? If they go away after the seven days, then this is a self limiting annoyance. Please come back and let us know if they persist. It's worth filing a report if they never go away.
I'm keeping this feature on until I get some experience with it. Mine is still calibrating and I get these messages, too, saying mine is on the way. Guess what? I can count to seven, too.

No, once it has enough data to give you your first goal it starts nudging you each day about reaching it.

@sockatume It sounds like you got the feature days before I did. I will flag your post to get a moderator response to this.

@sockatume and @LZeeW I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've been using the Cardio Load feature for more than three months and that banner never goes away. You can dismiss it, but it will come right back. At least that's how it is with the Android app.

@sockatume My husband didn't notice this feature (he customized his screen, so he sees everything he wants to see without scrolling). It had enough data to start giving a target load. He toggled it off and he doesn't get messages about it. I can't reproduce your issue, but I still hope a moderator can help you.
Update 1/1: My husband is also getting these messages and definitely has it turned off.

Thanks for getting back to us @sockatume. I'm sorry to hear that you still get the message banners for Cardio load, telling you it’s getting ready to give your first target. I'll be happy to assist.
Thank you for the heads up @LZeeW. And for your comments @alexthecat.
@sockatume, could you please send me a screenshot of the mentioned banner and confirm that you have removed it without success. I'll ask our team if there's something to be done in order to remove it for good.

Any time I start up the app, there is a message that reads “ready to hit your target today?” Followed by some annoying shaming verbiage that I don’t need or want to see.
How can I stop the message from popping up each time I open the app? I have to X out to close it every time. It is irritating. I don’t have the cardio load function active.
I want this message to STOP showing up. I didn’t buy a Fitbit to be shamed.

I agree that it is irritating and annoying. There is a suggestion here that those reminders be removed. I hope you will consider voting for that and perhaps adding a comment there.

I turned it off 10 day ago but still get the daily banner. Today the banner says "You've been active" and gives updated scale numbers and "you've got this". Please find a fix for this annoyance.

Same thing happening to me. Used to be able to X out of it, but now that doesn’t even work. Really annoying.

Are requested, today’s banner message above all of the cards, despite having this feature switched off. Even if it was switched on, the associated card wouldn’t be at the top of the list so it is a weird place to put the banners.

@AndreaFitbit I disagree with your recommendation to post in the Product Feedback forum. The byline of the Product Feedback forum is, "What would you like to see from your next Fitbit?" Posts take months, if not years, to get any action. Users are having issues that require immediate developer attention.

Help - for some reason, I can't get this notificaiton to stop coming up. It's right there in the middle of my screen and it's ridiculously annoying. I've closed it so many times that now it wont ever close when I tap the X.
How do I get rid of this once and for all? Everytime I make it go away it keeps coming back. I've tired turning off every toggle I can find that references anything remotely similar
Then closed and reopen - and poof, there it is again.
I got it to go away from features/notifications but then when I reopen, like a poltergeist 'it's baaacckkkk'
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated
Thanks

Now I can’t even dismiss the messages, tapping “X” does nothing.

Just annoying I am a dedicated person to fitness and eating right this daily dose of irritation does nothing to help me track my daily goals.

@jkahne that notification is related to the new Cardio Load feature. Even if you don't use Cardio Load and have no interest, there is no way to permanently dismiss the notification.
