Target Load missing from tile and graph

On the Fitbit app I receive an actual cardio load score but no target. For the first two days I received a notification telling me my target load but nothing showing on the graph. Now there is no notification or any target range on the graph. Does anyone else have this issue.

I was just curious if this was resolved…I have been having the exact issue. I had hoped a fix would have rolled out but I haven’t seen one.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.

Thanks for your continued reports, the steps tried and screenshots provided. I'm happy to let you know that our team has implemented a fix, and your target should now be visible on the Cardio Load tile.

If you haven't already, please update your Fitbit app and reboot your phone. After doing so, check the Fitbit app to ensure the information is displaying correctly.

Last update for the Fitbit app was March 3, 2025. A few days after the update was published the cardio load target also started showing no target. After multiple uninstall and reinstalls on different days the no target is still displayed.

Still showing no target data.

Hi there, @JimBobBillyBeau@vick_the_trick and @Ajm1133 Welcome on board.

Thanks for providing this information and trying some steps on your own. Given this situation, I'd suggest restarting your Fitbit device to refresh its performance. Then open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.

Continue wearing your tracker as you normally do and check if the Cardio Load Target appears the next day.

No diff.
I do get notices on the main screen. For instance yesterday it said I needed something like 50 to 66 to keep my goal of improving fitness. I hit 67 "cardio load." Today I woke up and I am barely maintaining. I like the idea of "cardio load" - but it doesn't seem to be dialed in at all.  It doesn't show me the target on the chart, but I'm getting the words on the main screen at least. Any time I hit the max target, the next day I'm in the low end of improving. If I hit the target cardio load + half again (~100 in this case), then I get into the "improving" category.

I guess this is where it's at for now. I'll stick to active zone minutes and keep monitoring the cardio tile to see if things change over the months.

I agree the target load calcs appear totally random and do not appear to sync at all with activity level or personal data. Worthless in my view.

Totally agree. Disregarding the fact that my regular 2km swim doesn’t register; even when I do reach my “target” the next day I’m told that I’ve been under training. There is definitely something wrong with whatever equation is being used. And now I can’t get rid of the tile

I've tried all the tricks in this thread multiple times and nothing has worked. I have an up to date fitbit app on my ios phone. My account is linked to google. And still no cardio target.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.

Thanks for sharing additional information. As you may know, our team recently released a new update for the Fitbit app. I understand you've tried this before, but please make sure the Fitbit app is updated on your phone, reboot your phone and pull down on the screen after opening the Fitbit app to force a manual sync.

Wear your Fitbit device one more time and let me know if the Target starts appearing this time.

Sometimes the load text appears on the tile instead of the home screen but there’s still nothing on the graph. The app definitely updated because I see other changes. But the cardio load page still says “no target” every day.

Updated my sense 2.
Updated my app.
Migrated account (against my wishes) to google.
I now have the target range showing. Things appear to be working well!
It's been a journey!
