Text Messages iPhone 7 plus

Hello

I have searched the boards and still am not seeing a solution for text messages with iPhone 7 plus.  I recently upgraded to the the iPhone 7 plus and went through the steps to sync my alta.  It allows calls but no text messages to get through.  I followed the steps with forgetting the device, re setting it up and called tech support.  I was within the warranty time frame and they sent me a new tracker.  I have followed instructions and set it up and it still does not allow text messages to come through.  I am now deducing this must be an issue with the iPhone 7 plus and not my tracker.  Has anyone else had this issue resolved?

On iOS, it is only possible to receive text notifications using the default messaging app. 

Are you using a different messaging app? 🙂

Hello!

I am not sure what you mean using a different messaging app.  I previously just had my fitbit app set up and I would receive text messages onto my fitbit.

Yes I have done all of those three times over. It seems to be an issue between Bluetooth and the tracker. Rather frustrating that I can't figure it out.

Hello

Thank you again. I actually one last time walked through all the steps and found the issue. I wasn't aware that my messages had 'show in notifications' turned off. It was so easy to miss! All is good now!
