Texts/calls received by Fitbit alta

My text and call notifications were turned off in my app. Before they got turned off my Fitbit always received and vibrated when calls and texts were coming to my phone. Now since it has been turned back on in the settings my Fitbit will not notify me when a texts are received. My blue tooth is turned on and the do not disturb setting is turned off.
I have reset my Fitbit several times, I have also completely deleted everything and started over from the beginning. Still not receiving anything.

@Nkkcrcy Welcome to our Community! Try removing the bond from the phone. When you enable notifications you create a bond with your phone. To remove it go to the bluetooth area on your phone and "forget" the Alta from the BT devices listed there. After this restart your phone and restart your Alta by doing the following:

1.- Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any USB power adapter.
2.- Insert the other end of the cable into the port on the back of your Fitbit Alta. Your Alta will begin charging.
3.- Press the button on your charging cable three times within eight seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer.
4.- Eight seconds after the first button press, you'll see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This means Alta is restarting.
5.- After you see the logo you can unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
