Hello Fitbitters.
2 parts of the same problem.
a) I have a red dot permanently sitting in the Notifications on the bottom of the iPhone App (iPhone 6)
b) The notifications are not current - throughout the day I get messages on my phone to say what I have achieved but these are not stored in the notifications section. The most current is June 22.
I've tried logging out of App and switching off phone.
Any answers much appreciated.

I have the same problem. Not getting updates & red dot with messages from last year. Have tried everything said above, but no luck. It seems every time you update, something goes wrong & then you take ages to fix it. Please fix ASAP & stop bringing out updates that mess everything up!
Same issue here, red dot for notifications for the messages tab in my fitbit. I read all 3 that show up. I also tried logging out, deleting the app and reinstalling it with no change. I have an iPhone 8+ on the latest IOS 12.1.3
Same here...red dot showed up in last week or so (since last App update)? No new notifications in over a month and all have been viewed...
I have a Charge 3 and iPhone 8. Recently the red dot on the notifications will not clear. I have attempted all of the usual solutions - delete and reinstall the app, sign out and sign back in, turn off the phone, reset the Charge 3. The dang red dot won't go away even though there are no new messages.
Same issue with old notifications, the most recent of mine istelling me I need 1924 steps to reach my daily goal on 6/17/18
I've tried removing the Bluetooth connection from my versa/iPhone, rebooting iPhone, remove/reinstall app... Nothing works. I have a feeling this will require a bug fix update fror the app

Best AnswerI’m having this same issue and it’s really bugging me. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it’s still there every time I open the app.

Have gone through all the suggestions listed and nothing has worked
It is constantly there everytime I open the app. Have an iphone . First started for me this year 2019 never an issue before

Best AnswerI am also having this issue. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted and installed the app again, logged out of my account... nothing changed. Maybe it’s a bug?
