Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

I’ve been using Fitbit for over 10 years .. the reason I’ve stayed is solely because of the app .. I’d have changed years ago as hate the watches/hardware .. what have you done!!! .. no battery indicator!.. distances incorrect! .. and a mix of old and new pages to find basic info .. so it’s tag or apple for me unless this gets sorted pronto ..

This new look is terrible. The app was fine the way it was. I may be ditching Fitbit! I'm so disappointed ☹️

I am NOT happy with the new app. I had 988 days with over 10,000 steps. This record is NOT being recorded on this new app— I want that back!!

I do not like the new app at all. Why would you remove battery level. Seems this app wasn’t thought through very well.

Best Answer

The new Fitbit app does not include the easy to find pull down battery strength indicator expressed as a percentage.  Please bring it back

Change it back! It was perfect before hand. Now it’s not tracking anything for me. Waste of money at this point. Allow for those of us who like the old design to have it back. Also it doesn’t even look that good like I’ve seen other people say, it looks ugly.

I don’t like the new updates

I just want to look at the app and get an estimate of how many calories I have remaining for the day. This is how I've been able to lose weight with FitBit in the past. I try to be good all day, log my calories eaten, track my workout, then look at the app before dinner to see how many calories I have left. With this app update, I now I have to log in on my laptop to see that????? This app update is a regression. Please fix it ASAP.

I like the custom preset so that we can choose our priorities for top view.

A slightly smaller font & graphic would be nice so that we can see more of our other information.
and add the battery status when we pull down to sync.

It's not a clean interface!

Its flat, nearly monochrome! But Why?

Takes a lot longer to scroll to see all info. Soon we will need a 27 inch phone to represent the info which previously fitted a 5 inch display.

You are experiencing a **ahem**-storm... I think.

Best Answer

This new app feels like a **ahem**ing joke. The app was literally perfect the way it was & now you’ve switched to a totally bland, user-unfriendly app design. Fitbit is about to lose millions of users if they don’t give us the option to switch back to the old version… what an absolutely horrific experience this is.

Google probably lost their googles!

Best Answer

You nail it!!! 😅🤣😂

maybe … maybe Fitbit/google will listen to us.  Looks like most of us will be gone by then but…

I think on should stay far away from Google, that is mission-critical!

Google destroys everything it buys.

And in the same manner, they even destroy standards they once adopted!

What does this arrow icon in the food symbol mean?

Please let us go back to pre update. Recent update is not better at all. Where is battery life gone. Needs to be %. What does medium even mean? Not useful or accurate. Please give us back the app pre recent update!!

I for me, I hope google will one day discontinue itself. That would be real progress!
