Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

New app appears to have deleted consecutive day streak.  Bring it back

The newest app is awful!

it set goal of 10,000 floors daily! To change it you need to it a minus key 10,000 times,  that is ridiculous! I might as well throw it away, just insane!
return the old app asap, or Fitbit under google might as well go belly up

I hate the update. It is stupid and horrible. Why can’t I go back to the other better version?

Worst update ever! Bring back the old app ASAppP

Liked Fitbit but Google is destroying it

Best Answer

Agreed.

What on earth have they made this change; it is beyond awful.

The old version had nice colours and was easy to use. WIth changes like this, it is time to move to another brand.

Bad move, really bad move, Fitbit.

The new app is terrible. I do not like it at all. The planes of it without the colors is very uninspiring are used to like to look at the end of the day to see if I’ve been active and I’d love to see the screen light up when I met my step goals water, exercise, days, etc. Please change it back or make another update. This is not working. Thank you.

“It’s a feature, not a bug.”

This is intentional.

If I get a streak of 20 days I’m pretty happy. I can’t imagine losing hundreds of days. This is awful.

This is beyond annoying. People are quitting the platform.

Hi @126569 there is no way to change it back to the previous app. Fitbit doesn't have to get our permission to change things. See Section 18 of the Terms of Service.

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14

Please give us back the old/working interface. The new one is huge, clunky, does not have historical access etc ad nauseum.

Best Answer

Can we please go back to the old interface? It was awesome.  This new interface makes me not want to open the app ever again. I'd rather have an apple watch and i dispise apple products.

Best Answer

Agreed. The new version is cringe. I hate looking at it. The old one was fine.
Seems like people are looking at Garmin.

This update looks like someone just took a " how to build an app" template and then didn't change ANYTHING .  Lame. Boring. No color. Terrible graphics.  Never been so disappointed in my life. My 12 year old niece could build a better app than this.

I guess I’ll just buy an Apple Watch. New update to the Fitbit app is just absolutely ugly.  I don’t even get a count of my active days anymore?  Wow, Fitbit. You really took a dump all over yourselves.

Best Answer

I feel the same. You are probably right about Google ruining it. I am so angry at this new app and what they have done.

Where is my step streak? Where is my walking map? Where are my calories in/out? This was a MAJOR disappointment to wake up to, and if it isn’t made right, Fitbit will lose a premium member very soon!

Best Answer

This is exactly how I feel. The old UI gives excitement, this new one gives disappointment. Initiate blackout plan for change pls.

I am also to the point that I have an Apple Watch and I don’t use it, until now this new App display is super annoying some of the features important to me are not even available
