Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!
Android or Apple?
Can you perhaps share the search terms you used to find this solution? Thanks!
Wasn't me, sorry. I asked the original poster who has not replied.
Hi @Okiegal2 you can't revert to the old app. As for your jogger status, it's a way forums have of saying how much participation you've had on the forums. Click to learn about ranks on the forums.
Please change the new/recent update to the FitBit App. The new update is terrible. Thank you!
I don’t like that it does not show the battery level on the app so you know your battery is charged. So it is a minus for me Google. Was the app beta tested before it was rolled out and no one addressed this flaw. Just saying.
This new app is aweful. User unfriendly. I hate it so much that I’m considering giving up Fitbit! I can’t find anything, I can’t add an excise that I did, I don’t understand the features and lots of things that were there are missing. This is so dreadful and frustrating. I can’t see things clearly at all. You guys sadly really messed it up.
Agreed. Absolutely awful. I can't get the data I'm really interested upfront - I dgaf about calorie counting but there it is, right in my face, without any means of swapping it out for another metric. I have to scroll down to get heart rate which due to health issues, is the main reason I use a fitbit.

The new app update is horrendous/ugly, makes it harder to find info (no longer visible at a glance - rather have to keep clicking on specific things like the month or week you're trying to see, in order to find the same info we could find so easily before), theres no battery percentage written on the app anymore, just states battery full or medium (which isnt helpful or accurate in reality)! It is so hard for some people to read the battery just on the device, this is not okay! Why would Google or Fitbit or whomever make such a stupid update that is SO hideous to look at, taking away items people actually use and need, and is also not an improvement??? Bring back the battery percentage on the app and please fix the icons and look/colours to the previous version of Fitbit, this new update makes me not want to use my Fitbit or even check it. Change it back or give us the option to customize our page's look and set up!!!
I am beyond frustrated! Whoever were the people who redesigned this clearly weren't fitbit users. Please ask the fitbit users, aka experts, when redesigning. Not even a way to check the charge of the gosh forbid never let die fitbit????? Please change back!!!!! And next time ask actual fitbit users!!!
