Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!

How can I revert back to the old version? You should at least give people the option to choose what design they want.... The old one worked just fine and did what it said on the tin.... If it ain't broke don't fix it springs to mind!!

Yup, I am having hell to learn how to use it. Super unfriendly and not intuitive at all. Probably my last fitbit.
----
I was trying to find that today and can't find it anywhere. It is actually removed??? How **ahem**ic is that? I just bought a Sense 2 since I've had fitbit forever but I will be looking into other watches.
----
Such ugly app. I think the app use on the phone was meant to be "clean" or something. Well I hate it.
I hate my new Sense 2 screen also. Cna't find anything anymore. I have paid for Premium but they are losing me fast now. I almost sent this watch back, now I wish I had. I might just switch and forget about fitbit.
----
Hate it so much. Just bought a new Sense 2 but considering to look into other smart watches and dump Fitbit forever.

I bet the questionnaire is worded so that it doesn't address the issue. This looks like the new style designers think is cool. One of my stock webpages did something similar. But nowhere near as bad. Having to click twice to just get the battery status is dumb, and even when you get there, you don't get a percent, you get an icon showing how full, so you have to guess the percent, like well that looks like a 1/3rd. The sleep data has quit coming across, I've had to enter it manually since the update. You have to scroll down to see items that use to be just below the dashboard. The idea of a dashboard is a small area that gives you a quick view of your stats. I used to be a software manager and designer; I would have failed any design that did this.

I hope everyone here is posting a review on the Apple App Store app and not just complaining about it here where it will likely fall upon deaf ears. I’ve seen app developers ruin a perfectly good app simply for the sake of change but this is perhaps the worst I have seen to date. I used the previous version of the app several times a day but now I find I’m skipping days. I don’t even want to open the app. Exercise should be hard work. Using the app shouldn’t be.

I‘m frustrated!
the old app was much better.
The app was what put Fitbit above the competition. But that is now gone!
what do you think will now happen? People will jump ship!

No, you. meant the new Fitbit app is slow to update and sluggish. Comparing the values on the fitbit watch itself will show that the update rate is sluggish, very slow on this piece of junk google wrote app. Addionaly, the app does not allow the user to customize the order and what is shown on the app. Instead it is limited to what google wants you to see. The old app allowed far more customization, and real time updates of the monitored values. The other sneaky thing is google turned on Location tracking on this App. Everyone turn it off if you dont want google knowing Everywhere you go. Also bring back the custom silent alarm feature. This app is still garbage !

I dislike every aspect of it. I've yet to find one improvement.

I hate this new Fitbit app sooooo much. How can I go back to the old app? If there isn’t a way, I’ll be getting rid of my Fitbit for good and buying an Apple Watch.
This new Fitbit app is a complete downgrade. It is horrible. It doesn’t easily provide the information the old app did. It’s more difficult to navigate and the info it does display is not very usable.
I have never used a product that has been diwngraded so badly in just one day. This is worse than the New Coke debacle. You’re destroying the Fitbit brand.
I will be never use Fitbit again if this is not fixed very soon.

This new version is bad. It shows more steps then what’s on my versa 3 and Fitbit dashboard. When I sync the app to my watch, it doesn’t show how much charge is left on my charge. The new app allows only 4 items to track on to. The old one allowed 5.
i give Fitbit 45 days to correct back to the old format or I will get a new smartwatch from another company

I am replying to this post as I simply cannot find how to make a post of my own. I hate to be negative but cannot say other than I hate and detest the new app. Cannot find anything. Horrible layout. Loads of stuff I have zero interest in and lack of basic data I need in accessible format. Maybe I could spend a month learning how to use something I have used without problem for years, but why should I? I have better thing to do. Fitbit, you should be ashsmed of how difficult you have made for me, and no doubt others. Thinking of chucking my Fitbit in the bin.

Google seems to think app design should follow what is now outdated home interior design, e.g., the bare bones designer look. Well, they didn’t even accomplish that.
Personalization plus ease of access, and NOT monotone should be restored.

Exactly! Harder to use, boring color and erroneous calorie counting. Plus not logging workouts automatically. They need to turn off the new and revert back to older program

I have been looking at fitness devices on Amazon. They have many that might match your fitness needs. I am having trouble with motivation with this update.
