Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!

Has anyone seen a battery percentage on the Fitbit app screen. I saw a message that someone saw it. IOS was mentioned as well. No explanation of it.

They read them closely enough to delete what they don’t like.
The only (marginally) positive change I’ve seen is the return of the numeric battery percentage, though it’s displayed in a strikingly unattractive way.

Totally agree. I can’t look at it. Very demotivating.

Hi @sparkles4 I'm using Android. Go to your dashboard and tap the icon upper left. It takes you to another "page" and on that, tap your device symbol. You should then see, on the next "page" the battery strength as Low, Medium or Full. See if that works for you.

@TerriFout and any others interested in the pull out from some countries, check out the Verge article (and comments) search Fitbit on their page to find the article which I dare not post a link to.

Release 4.04 for iOS is available today
points
1. Same overall poor and colorless design.
2. They did fix two minor things at least insofar as you have a Charge 5 and current iOS — (i) battery percentage is visible on the main screen, and (ii) current heart rate now shows in my custom preset main focus.
Small progress but at least some.

You may have to do what I did, and that's delete the app and d/l a new one.
You will have to log in again, but this time when it opens you should see the %.
All your stats should still be intact.
Hope it works for you.....

it takes Fitbit about two weeks to roll out an update to everyone in the Fitbit community. After the rollout has been completed, you will see a notice in the Fitbit community that it is available and shortly there after a new update, for the Fitbit devices is released. an example is on November 8 Fitbit released according to the forum 4.034 everyone. Version 4.04 was released shortly thereafter and I believe I downloaded it on Monday. Because it takes up to two weeks for Fitbit to roll out an update it is possible that Many in the community are not yet able to download version 4.04 and get the numeric battery charge which is now located in the upper left-hand corner.

I should have known it was too good to be true. I got O2 readings for 3 days in a row and thought that perhaps the problem with Health Metrics not getting an O2 reading was fixed. But, alas, no O2 reading today, although I did get the other 4 readings, which I always do. Looks like the O2 metric still needs some work.

Cute! It took me a minute to figure out what you meant by the fruit. Unfortunately, I don't have the fruit phone so it would be too costly for me to change to that.

@sparkles4 The Android and iOS app are managed by two different development teams. It's true, the iOS version is available. I expect the Android version will be available soon. This seems like a hot button issue for Fitbit. You can go to the Google Play Store and see if it is available. This update should go to all users.

Hello! It’s great that a couple of things got fixed in v4.04 of the IOS App (available yesterday in the App Store) but personally I’d like the functionality to be fixed next. It’s lovely that I can see at a glance the battery life and that the BPM icon is now working but when my data for heart rate and sleep regularly has 3-4 hour gaps overnight, rendering the associated health metrics inaccurate and worthless, it’s not really the main issue affecting me right now. Roll on v4.05 please and let’s fix the bigger issues. Thank you in advance.

Yes, my health metrics worked for 3 days but are now back to missing information again.

It’s like ‘1 step forward and 2 steps back’ each time. Please, Google Fitbit, fix the issue for good so we can get back to enjoying what we all paid for.
