Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!
Also, there is no breakdown or acknowledgement of changes to fat burn, cardio and peak in a quick view type way.
when you add a manual exercise, there is a date behind the Km scrolling option and you can’t read the numbers.
there is no breakdown for sleep like there was in the last app
whoever designed this clearly does not run on a treadmill, bike, swim or in general use this app.
it is shocking how bad this is to use
I wasn't happy with the previous change. It's only gotten worse. No longer useful for the reason I use this app.

The new interface is terrible. Shame on you. I’ll be looking for a different product.
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity.
Really hate new design. It looks worse, provides less useful information and yet manages to seem more cluttered.
Would be really nice if users had the chance to opt out of update (mine just appeared this morning - didn't ask for it) or at least rollback to old interface, but that would require a level of thoughtfulness to their customers which fitbit and google seem incapable of.
Would be ditching my fitbit for a garmin if it wasn't so new. Certainly won't be purchasing fitbit/ google again.
Hello, I really do not like the graphic changes nor the new pick your goals to highlight option. I really just track my steps and my sleep with Fitbit. Is there anyway to switch back to the previous mode? I’m a visual person and this change hurts me visually. I also know that while the intention is there to improve user experience, I think this is a downgrade for sure.

For me time to get Apple. All was fine and change not needed. Clean simple look to app but someone had to earn a bonus or something.
Sent from my iPhone12
Totally agree. Time to move on to Apple I guess.
Hey Fitbit, do some damage control and allow people to choose between the new version and the legacy version of the app. I stayed with Fitbit all these years because I loved the app. Now you’ve taken that away and replaced it with a very poorly designed option. Sadly, it looks like it’s time to switch brands.
The new app update is absolute garbage. More difficult to use, hard to read, less functionality, ugly, and looks like it was designed by a toddler. If we aren't given an option to go back to the old design, I'm switching to Apple watch. Based on all the comments I'm seeing on the boards today, Fitbit is about to lose a LOT of customers.
I called customer service yesterday and they said we can't revert. We're stuck with this terrible new version. I hope they listen to all the negative feedback and give us the option to revert back to the old design, which was 1000% better than this new trash design.
That's true. But by making these changes, they reminded me that I don't need their permission to leave FitBit (since 2012) and move to some other device. I'll be doing that asap.
Thank you. That helped explain things. My problem was that I like to see my top 3 tiles on one screen. With the new groups of tiles it was impossible to do that. So I ended up deleting all the tiles but my favorite 3 and I was finally able to see them all on the same screen.
