Tile Migration Failed

Howdy,

 

running IOS 13.3 on IPhone 11 using (or trying to) Versa 2 'Special Edition'.

 

I've read through the forums and tried several different things but cannot seem to get the 'home' area on the watch to populate any apps.  I keep getting 'Tile Migration Failed'.

 

Among other things, have tried combinations of the following :

 

-resetting the device

-logging out/in

-deleting the app

-removing the device from the app

-turning on share system notifications under bluetooth Versa 2

-turning notifications to always on

 

by combinations, i mean things like logging out, deleting devices, deleting app, restarting the phone (complete re-setup, etc)

if anyone has any other suggestions, I would like to hear.  I just purchased the fitbit and it arrived today and have spent the last 1.5 hours at the very least trying to get it to work.

so an interesting thing just happened -

 

I went to fitbit.com to create a support ticket for my device using my PC.  which by default loads your dashboard which had populated (current) data.

 

I was going to put the watch on the charge, but as I picked it up, it was on the home screen with ... data!

 

so, best I can tell- one additional 'trick to try' would be to open your fitbit.com dashboard and check your watch after (might need to reset the device again).

 

I don't intend to close the support case until I am sure the error is gone for at least 24 hours.
