My Fitbit Charge HR has changed time with the time change and displays the correct time but my app is not showing correct times. For example, my sleep time shows that I got up one hour later than I did. My heart rate is also showing one hour later than it is. How do I change the app to the current time? I have restarted my phone, restarted the app, and checked my time zone on the app and all are correct. I have synced my Fitbit many of times and nothing is working.

My Alta and the website dashboard show everything correctly, and my phone automatically adjusted for day light savings time as well. But the fitbit app seems to have over compensated and pushed its own clock up two hours e.g. the hourly activity shows this hour is 10am instead of 9am and it won't let me edit the time settings for the reminders. I change it and it changes back. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, and messed around with the time zone to see if I could correct it, and I even deleted last night's sleep record thinking that may have been the issue (it wouldn't show the data for it either). This seems like an issue with the app. Any plans to fix this, or has anyone found a way around it?

I have the same problem. I'm talking to support right now. They say it seems to be a bug in the software, and if that's the case it will correct itself after midnight tonight. I think a lot of people are having the same issue.

I tried syncing my tracker today to my phone app and it is still off saying that I fell asleep and woke up an hour earlier than what I actually did

Mine was off all day Sunday, fine all day Monday and then today it went back and showed I fell asleep an hour later than I did and got up an hour later than I did. Then today, my stairs would not track right either.

Hello @nannieannie2 and @mrs_g06, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

If your data is behind or ahead 1 hour, I would like to suggest going to your phone Settings > General  > Date & Time and make sure Set Automatically is enabled. Then, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account icon on the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Advance Settings
  3. Under time zone, disable Set Automatically and manually select your time zone.
  4. Enable Set Automatically again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and monitor your data for the next few days. In case you need anything else, please feel free to reply! Smiley Wink

Here in Nov 2017 with the same problem. I have the fitbit flex two, all screwed up in terms of time and have checked everything, uninstalled/reinstalled app, played around with resetting time goals and it changes everything back. I did the instructions above, and still nothing. It's also saying i woke up earlier than I did by two hours. What gives?
