I found that you need to forget the device on the Fitbit app, then close the app, then forget the device on your Bluetooth settings, and then shut off the Bluetooth. Once that is done turn on Bluetooth and find your device, sync that, then turn on the Fitbit app, and then add device and go through setup steps. This should fix syncing issues. I did it an hour ago and it worked!
