Tips to sync Flex with iOS 13

I spent a lot of time trying to sync my Fitbit flex to my new phone. iOS 13. 
finally what worked was just uninstalling my Fitbit on the app and reinstalling it. I lost some data but it works. I didn’t see this in any of the “fixes”
