Best AnswerHi, @Mbf, I am guessing the confusion may be arising because you are using MobileRun, not Mobile Track. Mobile Track is a feature designed for people who don't have Fitbits -- the app uses the phone's capabilities to count your steps, and steps from this do count toward challenges. Mobile Track does not creat a map. It just counts steps.
If you were using the app on the phone to get a map of your walk, you were using MobileRun, not Mobile Track. In that case it is important to wear your Fitbit at the same time. MobileRun uses your phone's GPS to give you a map of the walk and your Fitbit to count the steps. If you didn't have your Fitbit your steps wouldn't be counted for the Challenge.
Could that be what is happening in your case?

Best AnswerThat sounds like it might be th case, I didnt even know there were the two options?
It doesnt make sense to me that you can track it on the phone but you need the fitbit too, when you get steps recorded without it.
So I guess you cant use mobile track when you take the fitbit off or have a fit bit?
I take it off when I'm mowing the grass or using garden machinery due to vibrations etc
