Tracker not syncing with iOS app.

My iphone app has stopped synching unless I come onto the desktop and do a one-time sync.  It will show up on the iphone, but then not record anything else until I come to the desktop and do another sync.

This is day 2.  I have deleted and reinstalled the app.

Hello @Janpanc, I hope you're having a great day, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

Which tracker are you currently using? Have you tried to restart your tracker and your phone lately? If so, I would like to suggest you the following:

  • Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth device around while trying to sync your tracker and if you have a USB dongle plugged in to your computer, please remove it.

If the tracker is still not syncing correctly please try to set up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between your tracker and your phone. Don't worry, this won't delete any of the information previously stored in your account.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

I have an Alta. It's working fine but the iPhone synching has stopped.

When I try to synch - just above the battery life icon it says "looking".
I tried to reset (via my desktop)
I have reset online via my desktop, which was successful - still not
synching on the iPhone app
I have tried resetting via the iPhone app, following the directions you
sent. When I choose the Fitbit (Alta), it's searching but not connecting.
The little icon was spinning for many many hours.

I'm assuming this is a glitch in the app. It was working fine for a year,
then the other day just stopped.

I am able to synch via my desktop but it's sure not the convenience I'd
grown accustom to.

Thanks,
