Trying to set up Fitbit One with iphone 11, tells me to turn on bluetooth

I'm trying to set up my Fitbit One with my new iPhone 11.  From the Fitbit app, I removed the Fitbit One and then when back to the Add new Device option.  I choose the One and start the process but it keeps telling me to turn on Bluetooth.  Bluetooth is turned on.  I have tried resetting both the iPhone and Fitbit but it keeps on telling me to turn on Bluetooth.  Any help to get past this process would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Had the same problem. Have you got Bluetooth turned on still on your old phone? If so, turn it off as it is blocking the connection to the new phone

After posting, I found a similar response in the IOS forum.  I have the old phone completely turned off.  I'll go back to the old and delete the FB app altogether.

Wee you specifically trying to pair the Fitbit One with a new iphone 11 or another Fitbit product?
