Unable to Search for Food (or bar code scan for food)

Today if I click on the search bar to find a food it only allows me to create a custom food - no search results appear no matter what I type. This is the case before and after updating. I also deleted and reinstalled the app.

I agree with this. I was thinking about getting a new Fitbit as my battery isn’t as good as it used to be. Now I’m seriously considering switching to Apple.

I found this happening to my Versa 4 starting yesterday. I could log "Frequent" and "Recent" foods, but the auto-fill function when searching for a new food is not working at all. I have restarted my iPhone, closed & opened the Fitbit App, turned Bluetooth on & off, and I even deleted the App & reinstalled it. Very frustrating, as I depend on the Nutrition information.

We shall give them that duration to get the error fixed because we can't log new food without that feature.

Thanks everyone.  I'm here for the same reason m, cant track food - on Android and found this from a Google search. Good to know fitbit is aware of the issue.

I also heard Cronometer recommended, I may try that since the Fitbit app has so many issues, especially since it syncs.

Not working for me either. It won't find foods that I know are there, because I have logged them before. My app is updated. It's happening on my iPhone & iPad app. Hope they fix it soon, and don't just say all the things that almost never work and are a waste of time: Force quitting the app, turn my phone off and back on, deleting & redownloading the app. Just another reason to drop Fitbit as soon as my current one stops working, which will probably be soon.

Same for me! I felt crazy and uninstalled and reinstalled, forced stopped etc.

What is the Support Number?  I cannot find a way to talk to a human at Google.

Cleared the cache, for stop the app, restarted the phone, deleted and reinstalled the app. Not a **ahem** thing will work to make my food search work all I can do is custom or what already exist. 

When will this be fixed since this update sucks? I am so tired of your buggy updates. Didn't have this problem when it was Fitbit not Google.

Someone on this discussion claimed that they called support and they will work to get it fixed in 2 to 3 days.

So is FitBit/google doing anythign about this?  I use this app exclusively and ALL the time for tracking everything.

When I click on search to add a new food or look for a food it only says custom and nothing will come up. This started yesterday. I deleted the app restarted it, restarted my phone. Nothing works. How do I fix this?
