Today if I click on the search bar to find a food it only allows me to create a custom food - no search results appear no matter what I type. This is the case before and after updating. I also deleted and reinstalled the app.

Mine first stopped working yesterday during the day pissed me off now I’m trying to calculate everything and make stuff up and googling things this is part of why I used the app in the first place otherwise I would still be using my fitness pal
Just called the customer service number today Nov 7th and was told they are aware of the issue and working on a fix. It would have been nice to know about the issue immediately after they discovered it to avoid the frustration of troubleshooting a known issue.
This started on my phone too as of yesterday. I cannot add any food and the search does not work only shows custom food. I deleted the app reinstalled it that didn't work. Shut my phone down that didn't help. Nothing works. When will this be fixed!
Same thing happened to me today as well. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and that didn't do anything either. So once again these Google-Fitbit programmers made some change and didn't test it thoroughly before putting it into production! Typical!! 👎👎
I think the Google Play Store has the email address associated with the app. Perhaps someone can try them there.
