Unable to activate location services

I know there are previous messages on this topic, but they are all from years ago, and the solution posted does not apply to the app as it is today.

In short, the app keeps telling me to set location services to “always”, yet when I go to LS, I can’t see Fitbit on the list.

Any help will be appreciated.
