I have had the same trouble with mine. I have a iPhone 6 and have started using my Fitbit Flex again. When I tried to update my app it froze. So I took off the device and tried to reinstall and it will not recognize it. I have tried all over the house, at work, in the car and it just thinks forever. I even tried to add the app on my computer at home. It won't even let me add a device. Help!!!!

Let me help you with this,  in order to get it fixed I recommend you trying the following troubleshooting steps:

- Turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
- Force quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
- Reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
- Restart your tracker (2 or 3 times in a row).

I'm in the same boat, haven't used my fit bit flex for about a year and now am trying to get it to sync to my new 6splus. It won't sync. Tried turning BT on and off, force shutting down FB app, turning my phone on and off and poking the gold reset button. HELP ME FITBIT! I want to be up and running again!!! 🙂

@SarahBethD I think I can help you out! I'd recommend:

1. Restarting your tracker.

2. Rebooting your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn it back on.

4. Use the replacement setup process to re-pair your tracker to your account.

This should help you get back on track, but let me know if you need any additional help!
