Unable to delete app.

I am trying to delete the app as I just want to use my watch and count steps. I don’t want it recording and tracking data to the cloud. When i get to the “7-fay warning” page it asks for my email address and pw. When I enter them, I get a message that I’m unverified? This is the only enail ive used here and just worked to post this message. Advice?  I have the latest version. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. I understand you would not like to sync your information with the Fitbit app but please keep in mind that Fitbit devices use the Fitbit app to sync the timezone and date as well and the tracker/watch will need to eventually sync for this reason. Now, if you would be so kind to send me a screenshot of the message you're receiving, I'll be happy to check this for you and provide you more information and troubleshooting steps.
