I have an apple iphone 8s plus and I was receiving text and calls but then it stopped working anyone have an ideas

Maybe you accidentally turned them off.
From the clock screen, press and hold the button to make sure Notifications is set to On. Also, notifications must be turned on to receive reminders to move throughout the day.

Mine did same thing and I disconnected my charge 2 from my Bluetooth and than paired it back up and after doing that it started working again

@Mandy55806, if after trying the suggestions provided by @ACG, @Rmohr and @Awesomewalks100 your tracker is still not receiving Notifications, please check this post where I've detailed how to reset Notifications on your tracker using the Fitbit app.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
