Unable to get Notifications on Charge 2.

I'm using the Fitbit charge 2 with an iPhone 6.  I'm no longer getting any notifications on my Fitbit device - no texts, calls, reminders etc.  it worked fine at first, and now it has just stopped working.  I have all of the items checked in my Fitbit settings and have Fitbit notifications allowed in the settings in my iPhone.  How do I fix this?

@karesq  Make sure you check on the Charge 2 itself that notifications are on.  From the main clock face, press and hold the side button to turn notifications on or off.

Hope that helps~

I did that already, and it didn't help.

Thanks! I tried all the other stuff from inside the app and....nothing! I didn't even know you could turn notifications on and off from the charge H2 itself!

@karesq You also won’t receive text notifications if you have an open conversation since there isn’t a push notification on your phone.

Also, make sure that you have notifications turned on in your iOS settings. If you tap Settings > Notifications > phone/messages/calendar > and toggle ‘Allow Notifications’ on.

Lastly, if the problem persists, I'd then recommend the troubleshooting steps mentioned here.

Please can you help me?

My notifications stopped about a week ago.

I've reset the Fitbit, disconnected it from the Bluetooth and reset my phone. I've also checked the push notifications are all on.

any further advice please?

Hello @EmmaH22, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

Have you updated the app recently? Are you using a Charge 2? If so, please make sure the "Do Not Disturb" mode has been activated automatically. Press and hold the button while on the clock face, a vibration and a message will let you know if Notifications have been turned on or off.

Additionally, please try to set up notifications once again:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices; if it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Your Tracker > Notifications and enable them once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!
