Hello @Jhcernst, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, which tracker or watch are you currently wearing? Are you able to sync when you're connected to WiFi or are you also having trouble syncing? If you do, please keep in mind that if you have a child-block or a VPN enabled, this will prevent the Fitbit device from syncing and/or receiving Notifications.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I have a fitbit Versa and no, there are no problems with syncronising. No vpn etc. So any solution would be appriciated. Under any circomstances my versa gives no notifications about mail, which is gmail/icloud/ ziggomail.

Hello @Jhcernst, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply with the information requested. Smiley Happy

At this moment, I would like to suggest you to refresh Notifications in the Fitbit app:

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon
  • Tap Notifications.
  • Turn off all notifications
  • Restart your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on.

If this doesn't seem to work, set up Notifications again:

  • Tell your phone to "forget" your device, removing the connection between the phone and the Fitbit device.
    1. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and find your Fitbit device in the list.
    2. Find an option to forget the device.
  • Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again.

Now, when it comes to the gmail/icloud/ziggomail apps, make sure you have received at least 1 push Notification from these apps while your phone is locked; after that, go to the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Versa > Notifications > App Notifications and enable these apps here. If you're not able to see them, force-quit the app and open it again, then check.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

I looked over all settings in my iphone and changed some them regarding mail. After this I had mail as an option in notifications and selected it. Now it works fine. Looking back, I changed so much over some time, I cannot recall all the changes. Inthink it has something to do with under mail - meldingen - strookstijl. You have to enable all options. Put it on always. Sorry I don,t know the English word for it, I,m Dutch. Glad it all works fine in every circumstance wifi or 4g. The fitbit Versa is a winner for me after the Blaze. Great watch!!
