I no longer get phone calls or text messages on my Fitbit HR. What has changed? I have an iPhone 7 with all of the latest IOS updates on my phone.

Hello @Ronda2019, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, have you restarted your device and your phone recently? If so, I would like to suggest you to reset Notifications from the Fitbit app following these steps:

- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on tracker. Then tap on Forget this Device.

- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.

- Open the app again and tap on Account > Your Tracker > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:

- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:

- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

Additionally, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and Settings > Notifications > Messages and check that the following is enabled:

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I am also having issues with Charge 3 not receiving notifications. It will pair with Bluetooth but just not receive notifications. I have done all of the steps in the post. No luck. For some reason when I go to my notification screen and turn it on I do not have the “Show in History” options. I have done everything I can think of. I’m so frustrated in considering returning the Fitbit. I spent 4 hrs yesterday reading every post possible. Can someone pls help. The Bluetooth will recognize the Fitbit but no notifications will come through and everything is turned on that needs to be. Is it a software issue

Hello @Sherlora, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Thanks for taking the time to reply @Ronda2019, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

@Ronda2019, I appreciate you have come back and let us know your issue has now been resolved, I'm very glad!

@Sherlora, I appreciate you have joined the conversation and let us know you've already tried the troubleshooting steps listed here. Please note that after iOS 11, "Show in History" was removed. If you have already checked the settings and they're showing as the screenshot above, I would like to check that your Charge 3 is able to receive Notifications by pressing down the button for 2 seconds, in here you will be able to turn Notifications ON/OFF, make sure it's ON.

Now, if you have already checked this, I would like to gather some information from you so we can check this further:

  • iPhone model you're using.
  • OS version running on your phone.
  • Charge 3 version (tap on the device's image in the Fitbit app to get it)
  • App version installed (tap on Account > Help to get it)

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we'll be waiting to hear from you.
