When is Fitbit going to address this bug? Looking through the forums, this has come up again and again. Has anyone in QA heard of unit tests? This is so basic -- not sure what's going on in development over there.
Hello @Kimskill and a warm welcome. This issue has been going on for a few months now. Fitbit is aware. A moderator suggested entering these values on your fitbit.com (web) dashboard.

Sense 2, Luxe, Aria 2 | iOS | Mac OS
Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.
Exactly. This has been going on for a few months now. Let's let that sink in: months. When are they going to address this problem? Entering from the website is tedious.
Best AnswerI still had the issue on my iOS device (worked fine on the Android version), but found a workaround (Note: French version of the app, dunno if this change anything)
For the developers: the issue is that the "." character is not recognized as a decimal separator, but the "," character is, and the keyboard selection sometimes only allow to enter "." and not ","
As for my workaround: when entering the fat percentage, I had the "globe" icon on they keypad. When clicking on it the keypad changed to a keypad with the "," instead of ".", and now it correctly works.
Note that I have Swiftkey as my default keyboard. I do not know if this is the root cause of the issue or if it is involved in the workaround. I now cannot switch back to the original (bugged) version of the keypad; so in my case the issue is fixed.
Edit: Swiftkey (+ French language rule probably, as "," is the decimal separator) is indeed the culprit in my case
In hope this helps
